What is worth writing about

• Something is broken. The most useful reports say which tool, which browser and what kind of file. Image bugs are often format-specific, so "HEIC from an iPhone 13, Safari" tells me far more than "it does not work".
• A tool is missing. The roadmap is driven by how often something is asked for. Several tools on this site exist because somebody wrote in.
• A result looks wrong. Colours shifting, transparency turning black, a file coming out larger than the original — these are usually real bugs worth fixing.
• Anything in the guides is wrong or out of date. Corrections are welcome.

What to expect

I usually reply within a few days. This is a side project, not a support desk, so I cannot promise same-day answers — but I do read everything.

Please do not attach the image you are having trouble with unless you are happy for me to have it. In almost every case a description of the file — format, rough size, dimensions, where it came from — is enough to reproduce the problem, and it keeps your file where it belongs: on your device.
