Good to know
Where you put a watermark is a trade-off between visibility and protection. A corner is the least intrusive and the standard choice for signing your own work; the centre is much harder to crop out, which is what you want if the point is discouraging reuse. Low opacity in the centre is usually the better compromise.
For a logo watermark, use a PNG with transparency — a logo on a white rectangle will sit on your photo as a white rectangle. Size is measured as a share of the image width, so the same settings scale proportionally across a batch of photos with different dimensions.
You can also drag the watermark anywhere on the preview instead of using the position presets, and the exact placement carries over to every image in the batch.

Can I watermark many photos at once?
Yes. The same watermark settings are applied to every photo in the batch, scaled proportionally to each image, and there is no file limit.
Where should I place a watermark?
Corners are the least intrusive; the center is the hardest to crop out. For real protection use the center at low opacity — for signing your work, a corner is the usual choice.
Can I use a logo image instead of text?
Yes — switch the watermark type to “Logo” and upload an image (a PNG with transparency works best). You can adjust its size, position and opacity exactly like a text watermark.
Does watermarking reduce photo quality?
The photo is re-saved at high quality with the text drawn on top; outside the watermark area the image is visually identical.
